Forty percent of the households that receive food from the Community Food Bank of New Jersey had to choose between paying for food and paying their rent. Forty-one percent had to choose between paying for food and paying their utilities or heating fuel. Thirty-one percent had to choose between paying for food and paying for medicine or medical care.
